App Shows NYC Subway Riders Where To Get Cell Service Posted on 18 Feb 16:40

It happened in an instant. Daniel Goddemeyer was riding the subway one day trying to send urgent emails and was having little success. He was eventually able to get them sent out, but the experience gave him an idea. Fast forward a bit and Goddemeyer had created his very own solution - Subspotting. The iPhone app allows users to see geographic maps of the city with the availability of each carrier (AT&T, Verizon, etc.), as well as reception graphs for each subway line. In short, Goddemeyer was able to achieve his goal: "to let people know where they can connect, to download the PDF, or send the next email."
