Those of us who use Penn Station to get around know just how outdated it is. That's all about to change. According to New York governor Andrew Cuomo, $3 billion is being spent on Penn Station 2.0, set to open to the public in three years. The facility, which will go by 'Empire Station,' will feature larger waiting areas, improved connections between transit methods, ample natural light, and an overall aesthetic fit for the greatest city on earth.
