The new For Five Coffee shop is close to opening its doors in Manhasset, Long Island. With two Manhattan locations already in existence, the Manhasset cafe will bring a much needed look and feel to an area that often goes overlooked when it comes to high-quality coffee. "We saw that nobody was venturing into Long Island because no one understood it, but we know Long Island," said For Five co-founder Tom Tsiplakos during a recent interview. Along with 30 single origin roasts and 16 blends, the new location will serve breakfast and lunch treats like scones with bacon jam, buckwheat pancakes, Greek spinach pie and more. Located at 292 Plandome Road at Park Avenue, For Five Coffee will also be delivering orders to the nearby Manhasset train station for those needing a beverage and a bite to eat on their way to work.
